Hey all... Pedro has had to go back into hospital for 30 days continuing the chemo treatment. I've been chatting with him by messages as he is in isolation.
I'll be waiting for him to get out so I can go and have fizzy with him and work on engines...

Hoping for the best for you Pedro. I picked the thread back up again. What beautiful work and the patience you put into solving all these little issues. Congrats on the BOTM. Hoping for a complete recovery.

G'day to Everyone :-D :-D :-D

I didn't realise I was the bike of the month until a few weeks ago, Thanks Guys :-D

I just came out of hospital night before last, spent 26 nights there having my "Stem Cell Transfusion", that was the worst 3 weeks of my life, uncontrollable vomiting, dioreha, headaches, all the skin in my mouth burnt out, taste buds gone awry and insomnia, then I went all dizzy in the shower and smashed both knees on my way down.

I am still having difficulty with nausea and the runs and hobbling around (I think I need a Zimmer frame) and have literally no energy to do anything, but I am home in the comfort of my workshop :-D

By the way "5speed" I was contented with #95 in pots 1&6 and #98 in all the others, #38 slow jet in all pots, Interstate diaphragm springs and standard needles and air mixture screws set to 1+3/4 - 2+1/8 - 2+1/8 - 2 - 2 - 1+7/8

I set my mixture screws by pulling the plugs, snap a shot, bead blast them, re-fit and torque down and test ride for approx. 50Km. they were all black and sooty first but after several goes I finally got them down to be even.

Now don't forget that this is an Australian machine, carb serial No- KOP[A]MG27 and our fuel probably differs from what you have, stock uses #72 Mains and #35 Slow Jet.

She hammers along nicely and has new shoes on her now.

Now she is up for sale as I have to cull my toy collection in preparation for downsizing our home.

Happy and Safe Riding to All, Peter :-D

It is great to see you back posting again. You have been missed and are in our thoughts. Sorry that you have to sell some of your babies to enable the move.
