For any of you guys out there that are interested in Goldwings, on February 3rd Pipeburn.com posted a very very very nice bike on its website. It doesn't have a Gopher Guard like mine, but it's scoop so much more cooler. And the coolest thing about it: it's finished.
The front scoop looks to be fabricated from aluminum or fiberglass w/ a mesh screen behind it. The air intakes at the faux tank shelter were fabricated, but I can't garner info from pipeburn or the Cardsharper facebook page. It's also difficult to determine where the gas cap/filler neck has been relocated; the seat may tilt up?
If there is one thing I have learned throughout this process it is this: Check your respirator for spiders before you put it on.
Those questions might be answered if you ask the builder.

Nuk, nuk, nuk! Hawkeye Sugs has discovered the filler cap. That is funny! There's a close-up of the tail piece & the filler cap. I was gawking at the brown leather & blue bike that's incongruous to my eye. As a reward stop in to my shop & I'll buy you lunch.

I also book marked that Cestus wing as I was very interested in its bodywork, especially the seat and rear light, lovely job there. Many of today's newer bikes have those kinds of vents on the tank or frame sides, some are functional most look good. In the end though that last pic on the Pipeburn site makes the whole bike look quite cramped... It is very pretty, but then I'm biased towards light blue coloured bikes! And Glenlivet of course.
Procrastinator's Daily Diary initiates today around 5:21 PST, USA. If I can get pics to load, I'll continue. If I don't, then I'll have to use the laptop at work. Let's see what happens.

It works. The bracket from my right muffler to the frame simply broke. The weld held, but the cheap metal (probably purchased a decade ago at that big orange supply store) just snapped. I barely have 190 miles on the Puppy in the close vicinity, & it breaks. So I made another bracket.
