Beautiful bike Rudd.
Looking at your pictures you have used the Gates 5119 timing belts. These are a good solution ,yes?

Re: rudolphwolven Project goldwing
The 5119 number was used over this side of the Pond. It is noted as 19mm x 86T, as distinct from the T274 which is 3/4" x 86T. As my old Grandfather would say "same meat, different gravy".

Are the 5119 belts not 87 teeth?Old Fogey wrote:The 5119 number was used over this side of the Pond. It is noted as 19mm x 86T, as distinct from the T274 which is 3/4" x 86T. As my old Grandfather would say "same meat, different gravy".

Re: rudolphwolven Project goldwing
Sorry, senior moment brain fart! Yes, of course. both these belts are 87 teeth. Essentially they are both the same belt; I have no idea why Gates numbers them differently.

OK, now I have not checked every single listing, but enough of them to know that most are correct.

Awesome work.
A question. I would like to paint my engine. Paint suggestions? Can I use canned paint?
