Vetter Bag Fitment Question

#1

Post by Snake Plissken »

Apology up front if this is in the wrong place but -

I've got an '83 standard and have found a set of Vetter bags and mounts online from a '78. The seller has provided plenty of pix and the frames look identical where the mounting brackets will fasten so I'm thinking this should be a simple bolt-on operation. Can anyone confirm?

I can't say that I have done this one, but after a bunch of ones I have done, I would not be scared to jump in and do it.

If you have 1000 frames you may need to enlarge the hole that goes to the seat rail, otherwise, it's straight forward.

If you aren't having fun doing it, find something else to do.
