There is also lots of info found by googling ABS repair...
For your expertise of judgement, seriously, the fairing is built for the GL 1000 (at least the lowers are) but on the main body of the bike, the side cover for the radiator flask, which is the overfill of course, is scraped up badly where the rough black material meets it, just to the right below the gauges. I am wondering about whether the front end has been sprung...check this picture out....

  This being a topic for gaining composure, being we live in such a serious world of predicaments, whenever I can bring a smile to some anxious heart, I try to oblige. How do we learn? For instance, below is an item. I will not tell you what it is, nor will I tell you that I know, but it was hanging above the toilet for a week, until I worried about having a guest. Abashment in every shade of red, for if the guest knew it not, which of us would be the fool, when nothing was said; The Thinker?

Yes, yes, but I worried someone would look in and say, "So you are into enemas?" and then I wouldn't be able to convince her of the truth!

So I decided to christen the Motorcycle. Here is a brief explanation of the name. I thought back to what I was doing in 1978 that had a significant meaning, and remembered that was the year I first visited Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Va. A big deal for sure because they were advertising the biggest/baddest roller-coaster since Six Flags! So there on a slightly rainy day I got in line to ride the LOCH NESS MONSTER, and after about an hour and a half, still in line, I came to a sign that said "You are 45 minutes away from boarding here."
If the Motorcycle had been a 1975, I would have christened her MOONSHINE because that was the one and only year....
So for this theme to be on cue, the motorcycle is from this third day on forth..."NESSIE".

Didn't mean to stun anyone, glstriker. Do you know what it's like to be caught speaking to yourself when you thought you were alone? Sometimes you just need to blurt things out. Maybe those paddywacker sessions are...are hidden by the pillars of time, and all we need to do is rotate clockwise, you think?

The only year she came in my favorite color. I think Liam will like it (top of page 2), "NESSIE".

Pardon my manners seriously. The old saying, 'man behind the mask'; is it from the, The Phantom of the Opera where this strange and wonderful music is being overheard, coming from the very bowels of the Cathedral?
Honest that other sound was just my foot dragging. "Who are we dealing with here?" is answered.
