Since then I have completed the Weber conversion and it works very well, I also converted to a hydraulic clutch by using a later cover and I managed to get a NOS slave cylinder. I got a pair of lever and master cylinder kits for a princely £17.50 from China so I replaced the brake m/c as well, 14mm bore makes the brake lever pressure needed a lot less. The local hydraulic pipe shop made a pipe up for £23 which I think is good for a 48" pipe so now we're good to go when the weather improves. Just need a helmet suitable for an 8yr old now, any suggestions from the UK?

Go Carts shops or scooter/ moped stores? Definitely want to keep the weight low for that young neck.
