lol. Upside down photos or not, that truly is a good looking motorcycle. I would expect you'll be engaging in conversation with admirers where ever you go with it! Seriously nice work.

I got everything pretty much back together to find I had three electrical issues.
The right rear turn signal didn't light up - poor connection on the bullet connector in the connector box. The starter would engage with the bike in gear and clutch out-turns out the switch in the new clutch perch is backwards and grounds the circuit with the clutch out. I swapped in the original switch and after some messing around with the adjustment got it working right.
The last one was the high beam. Traced that to the aux. fuse that I have powering the relay. The fuse appears to be slowly melting. The fuse is a 30amp which should be overkill for that circuit. Today I'm going to run 14 gauge wire with 30amp in line fuse from the battery to the relay.

I had some cracks in the fairing I needed to address. I didn't have any luck finding a replacement fairing over the winter so I thought I would try to glue it. Seeing how the fairing is made of abs plastic I went with abs glue for abs plumbing. I drilled holes at the end of the cracks and I worked the glue into the cracked areas both from the mounting area and inside the fairing. After sitting over night the glue worked its way to the outside area. Time will tell if the works or not.

This is how the bike looks at the moment. Subtle changes from before. I'm getting use to the fairing mounted mirrors. I don't think they give quite as good of view as did the handle bar mounted ones did. But with the narrow and lower bars it might of been the same. The bars are a little lower than I was shooting for but the bike handles better with the. The new master cyl. Doesn't seem more powerful, until you grab it hard and then you better be ready. I think the seat looks okay. It's definitely firmer. A long ride will be the real test.

Very pretty bike, you have done a great job of making it your own without destroying its' integrity.

Those plugs are a good solution, but I have an alternative that I've used on a couple of bikes. These posts are used as helmet locks, but can be purely decorative, as well. Spin right into the mirror holes. These are on my '78, but I've used them on other machines that had gone to bar ends, etc.

Looks like a CBX/750F/900F/1100F front fender. Same as the bike in my avatar.
