There are quite a few rusty bits on the frame, which I will touch up with my patented rattlecan spot painting technique.

Front forks were removed for a cleanup and new seals.
Headstock bearings felt notchy so they got changed for new tapered roller units.

Always fun to watch experience at work. Nice starting point, nice progress. (And the frame rust didn't really look so bad in the photos). But, I'm like you. Any rust at all, even a speck, has to be dealt with.
