Looks good. A little higher gloss than i am planning to use but I like it. I'm thinking I'll go with a semigloss for the black parts.

The camera flash makes the paint look higher gloss than it actually is. There is no natural light entering the room where those pictures were taken, there is an LED light over the bench area.

Re: Yellow Peril Fixer Upper
I still have these to contend with. I am going to buy a pair needing painting and have a go at
putting on some yellow and the pinstripe somehow, if I mess up I will still have the original pair to put back on.

I cleaned and painted these anti collapse springs from the radiator hoses.

I bought this water hose, which is from a 1996 Honda Civic.
It is a Gates unit but a different number from what is sold in the USA.
I am hoping to get the 2 pipes from it, top and bottom.
It fits nicely onto the radiator and engine connections and the anti collapse springs fit over it.

I also got my hands on these, I got 2 pairs 1 black and 1 green/blue.
These are the greeny blue ones, in very good condition.
The had been red at one point in their lives.

This is the black pair. There are a few cracks and dents. I might just give these a miss.

I am going to have a go at painting them yellow and also adding the pinstripe.
Maybe it will work out, we shall see.

You may find the stock clamps don’t grab these tight enough .... right diameter but thinner than stock ....

Re: Yellow Peril Fixer Upper
There was a mixture of clamps on there, Gord. I doubt any are original 3 of them are stainless. I would like to get originals though if it were possible. The outer diameter and wall thickness of the hoses look very similar to what I took off which may not be OEM either.
