Guys and Girls I'm kinda back! I'm stuck with some parts I can't find and at the same time waiting for someone in the mail. Reasenty turned 41 and my wife gave me a sorprise I wanted to share with you all, Soo cool...

Well I leave you all with a rejuvenated spirit and wanting to finish the project soon. Hope it's contagious!

Well, happy birthday. You must be one lf the youngsters on the forum.
For parts, ebay almost always has what I am looking for.
Bikes at present:
80 GL1100 Interstate: Now a Cafe Racer called DRAGON WING.
81 GL1100 collecting dust with about 300,000 miles, known as BLACK BEAUTY
2008 (I think) GL1800 Nice bike but as exciting as the family sedan!
76 GL1100 yes, 1100 with 1000 heads and cams, being customized
A fleet of parts bikes awaiting resuscitation or customization or abandonment :IDTS:

On the 'no heat wall?' These were deleted for the 78-79 models.

Congrats on BOM! Very worthy. Too bad you can't just buy parts through Amazon, but I understand the import issues that Mexico has. Looking forward to seeing it next year as a calendar girl!

1981 CX500 good mid range tourer, went to Austria on it!
1983 GL1100C Pride and joy, sold when I bought my 1st house, big mistake
1985 GL650 Silverwing another mistake, horrible bike
1986 CBX550 Good commuter
1989 Suzuki GS750 (1976) cheap and cheerful until a dog ran out in front of me on Xmas Eve, 1991
Current bikes
2010 CB1300 back on a bike after 19 years, two divorces, children grown up etc
1980 GL1100 NOW ON THE ROAD, still use CB1300.
