Okay. I'll pay close attention to it when I put it together.

With some more help over on the tech board I got this Martek ignition static timed. Also fixed the leaky petcock with an All Balls kit. I can't believe how good this thing is running. Just need to synchronize the carbs and engine work will be done. Brakes, tires, and install front blinkers and this thing will be on the road.

Finished synchronizing the carbs. Man does it run good. Used a homemade setup with 2 jars to do it. Took a little extra time but saved some money. I also got the rear master cylinder rebuilt. I used a washer in the brake line coming from the back of the cylinder. Now that I think about it I think that was the wrong move. Picturing that connection in there I'm sure I gapped it too much with a washer. That thing was a bear to get hooked back up too. But all told a great Saturday. Rear caliper rebuild next on the list.

Just got the Brake Crafters stainless steel caliper pistons in the mail today. Installed them in the front tonight. Still need to bleed the lines, but making good progress. On another note I just realized I called the thread a restore. I guess I'm not restoring it but reviving it. Want to get it on the road this spring and over time keep revitalizing until eventually I may have a restore.

I've been adjusting the fuel idle screws while test riding and practicing. It's running pretty well. Got the front blinkers installed last week. It will be a process to get it where I want it, but this thing is street legal. I was supposed to take my road test for my endorsement yesterday but we're on full lockdown here in Michigan.
