Rear MC bracket made and functional. Will get pics when it's cleaned up and ready. It's just 1/4" plate - I used the left hole to screw into the MC threads thru the bracket, then the right hole threads into the bracket. A 3rd hole bolts the bracket to the lower MC mount. No movement!

Rear end is all tightened up per Randakk's method. Need to get the bike on the ground (After i install the side stand) and do the front end tightening, setup the handlebars (tighten them too) and then (hopefully) get it fired!!!

Got it running last night. Only briefly, but fired up quick after sitting for nearly a year.

Need to find more time to run it more and test some things. Need some more gas in the tank to "prime" the system a little better (fuel pump is clicking like it's starved).

So far no leaks, but cooling system hasn't made it to temp yet...

Fixed the horn button, need to figure out a way to better ground the handlebar switches, as the black bars prevent a good ground thru the clamps...

What makes you think they are grounded through the bars?

When I connect an jumper wire from the housing to a known ground, the horn works. I need to trace the ground to the headlight bucket from the housing, make sure it didn't fall out. Otherwise, I need to add one (maybe a connection was missing all along)

The green wire from the horn switch should be working, need to trace it down. Last I checked, the ground terminal was nice and secure, but who knows now

Ok, like I suspected. Wiring is hooked up properly. White/green wire isn't grounded appropriately, neither is the switch housing (which acts as the ground path for the left housing). The black powder coated bars aren't allowing the ground thru the triple tree. I confirmed this by hooking up jumper grounds from the switch housing to a ground, then tested the outputs. So a simple way to fix it all would be to scuff up the bars some to allow for grounding.

So, need to figure out how to get around this little bit...

Readjusted the idle screws to 3 turns out, need to test drive again.

Fixed the rear M/C bracket: welded an "ear" onto the first bracket and then cleaned it up some after drilling some holes in it, making a few custom bolts and now I have a correctly positioned (and slightly adjustable) rear brake pedal.

I need to make sure the water cycles thru, then drain And inspect to see how everything looks. It SHOULD be fine, so I'm hoping to forego the flush fluid, but we'll see.

Need to align head and fog lights, figure out the horn mount, shave the front of the cobin down some and some other little things here and there.

Got the horn mounted. Just need to paint the mount. This horn is LOUD!

I was going to mount it sideways (facing out) but couldn't get the clearance worked out well enough.

I think it came out nice enough though!

Horn is installed and wired up, small thing to cross off the list.

Rethinking fuel pump location, might move it similar to the way the original wireup by cfairweather (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1p_mO94 ... h1Prl/view). Don't really like the look of how it's installed currently, want it a little more hidden, so need to play around with some options.

Lower radiator hose is leaking, so I need to get that addressed. Thinking back, I never cleaned off the hose bib on the radiator before installing the hose, so I'm fairly certain there's some paint leftover on that. Also ordered some silicone hoses for an eventual swap over to those. Coming from GB, so it won't be anytime soon, but they were cheaper (even with matching clamps) than Randakks/DCC and I got a nicer color (matte black vs glossy).

Still need to sync the same carbs, just haven't found the time yet!

Starting a new job on the 21st, so hopefully I can sneak some time into the week off between!

Quick note to say if you ordered from WinGovations (John/Fogey), shipping took 8 days to Fort Worth, TX. Hope that helps.
