Just picked up a 83 GL1100 Interstate

Hi everyone, I just brought this home last night. It has been sitting for 6 years.

Needs some break work and of course carbs cleaned out

Also looking for a side panel if anyone knows where to find one this color!

It is pretty but you do know that it has been repainted that color right? You will have to take your bike to a auto paint supplier, have it scanned and a paint match for the side cover supplied. That is not an oem paint job. There is likely only one side cover that color and that is the one that was lost.

Oh okay, I was googling it and was reading that this was a rare Canadian only color offered up here. Even reading that I figured it would be a needle in a haystack. Thanks for the reply!

So I took another look at it and yep, your 100% right. They painted over the sticker with the paint code...and the weather stripping in the glove box etc. My bad, sorry! Thanks Jonesz!
