Hey All,
I just picked up a 84 Interstate. Been sitting outside for 3 years so needs completely gone through. Need a good seat.
Best part is it was 300.00

Sweet! I just looked at an '86. Low miles, but it's been sitting outside, as well. Just too much of a project for the asking price...

'Layla' - '81 Standard w/dealer installed fairing and Hondaline bags.

yes I did, it is in the driveway.
I was going to try and fit in my cargo van but the 30.00 price tag of a trailer rental at home depot was a better deal and less time consuming.

Now all I need is a Handy S.A.M. 1200 lift. I'm really seriously thinking of getting one after Deadwood.

I hope not. I'm thinking they will get along fine. I can get working on the Interstate as practice. So I don't mess up the standard :lol:

Nice I cant wait to see them.

I called 3 companies and all them are out of stock on the lift I want. there saying mid sept to the end of the month.

i'm grabbing neighbors pump to empty gas tank and probably take off seat and get some quotes to have it redone.
I don't really want to spend more than 100 or tops 150 for a seat.

You can save few bucks by taking the old cover off yourself and shaping the foam the way you want it.
Keep the cover though as they may want to measure it.

I stopped by the yard today. I got out of a side bag 2 all balls bearings looks like for the rear wheel. New fork seals for a 1200
H4 bulb, front master cylinder, rubber battery tray and a left side cover and trunk brake light conversion kit for the backrest. there was a 10 pack of spark plugs but the counter guy said he is keeping them darn. it was a good day in junk yard.
