Project starting now

#1

Post by bwill166 »

Here is where I'm starting. As you can see, I'm missing the entire shelter, both inner and outer. Missing side covers too. Missing carbs and intake but plan on a single carb with the 4 into 1 intake. Missing seat. Who has what I need? Anyone close to midwest(kc area)? Located in Kansas City area

Welcome, looks like your off and running.

Gold front wheel keys to a LTD version, as they where the only ones to have gold anodized rims.

I have the shelter pieces here in West Texas minus lock, key and hinge pins. Should have a good coolant overflow bottle. Lots of other odds and ends too.

The saddlebags make good parts/trash bins. Don't be afraid to get a trashed seat, rebuild the padding with carpet foam, and put a recover from an eBay vendor on it.

Welcome from St Louis. It helps to put your location in your signature. I had to read your post 2 times to realize where you are. I have a few parts in my collection that would fit you bike.

you can always check ebay for cheap parts. Its the shipping cost that will get you. I won a nice 80 gas tank only to have the guy back out saying the shipping cost was 70.00.... found another one that the guy estimated at 17.00... I think he lost on that deal... oh well... good luck on finding parts
