I may be stepping out of line here folks, but i feel i must say this:-

Although the members of this club strive to help the fellow members/guests, ANY MECHANICAL tasks you/anyone takes upon themselves as a result of a posting/topic in the forums must be ABSOLUTELY CLEAR that the admin(Try) moderators,or ANY OTHER MEMBER, WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE howsoever caused............THIS IS NOT A REFLECTION OF ANY MEMBERS GOOD CHARACTER.....

we give advice as friends, and share technical tips with each other............

IF YOU DECIDE TO TACKLE A PROJECT,MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE KNOW HOW TO CARRY THESE REPAIRS/MODS OUT.

I APOLOGISE PEOPLE IF THIS SEEMS A BIT FORWARD,BUT IN MY OWN INTERESTS+MY FELLOW MEMBERS,I FEEL I MUST EMPHASISE THIS FACT.........

IF YOU DO ANYTHING AT YOUR MACHINE AS A RESULT OF A TOPIC/ADVICE......... THEN REMEMBER PLEASE,THAT YOU DO SO ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK..... NGW MEMBERS WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE...............

YOU ALONE will be responsible for ANY undertakings/consequences you may suffer as a result of misguidance...........IF YOU AINT SURE,DONT DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THANK YOU ONE AND ALL.................................. ;)

Yep, Thanks Bandana. I have always felt that advise is just that. If one cannot take responsibility for thier own actions, lack of knowledge, or lack of judgement, that person should not even be working on anything, let alone be behind the handlebars. Just my 0.02.

thanks guys.......

this statement is by no means any reflection on anyones good character here on ngw,but i felt it must be made clear......

i have heard of situations of members falling out+trying to bring courts of law into these kind of situations........(not for us)

i feel Try has given us a wonderful site, with great friends worldwide..
i for one dont mind giving my little bit of know-how to anybody, but wont give them ammunition to fire at me,or the club,or any of my fellow members............

maybe Klacko could make this a permanent announcement on the forum.

maybe Try will tell me off!!

anyone who feels i have gone too far, then i give you my apology+maybe i should have discussed with Try first?
ANYWAY I HAVE SAID WHAT I HAVE SAID IN THE INTERESTS OF MYSELF+AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED,THE MEMBERS AS A WHOLE.........

safe riding one and all..................... ;)

I support what Bandana says. An instructor once told me " We can give you the information, but you have to be able to think about what you're doing, and we can't supply that ."

thank you Bandana. that probably should have been done a long time ago.
some folks don't have the common sense to take responsability for their own actions. of course, the members of this site cannot be accused of that affliction.............advice is like an opinion,.....to be taken with a grain of salt( to coin a phrase) thanks again..........T  :!:  :!:  :!:
