Actually, it held up really well considering it went about 20 feet in the air and landed upside down...

:-D Ahhhh, all fixed now....tomorrow another coat to fix a flat spot, and then I'm just waiting for a pair of lift-off ss hinges to arrive. I propose to use the aft hole for the cowl as one of the attachment points, drilling the other through the hull of the car, so there is no way this puppy can get airborne again....sorry can't find a pic to upload; this are 316 cast ss lift off hinges by Seadog Inc.....another pic tomorrow after the "last" coat...

I hate to say it, but I had a great ride today in just a tee-shirt (I usually ride w/an armored jacket) and my son Kyle in the sidecar...it must have been pushing 90degrees F but the 'wing stayed cool even when I pushed it to 85mph....Damn, this is fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! crossy.gif
Oh, and I want to say that I put a handheld GPS onto my handlebars w/ rubberbands and except for the fact that the clock is slow to react, it is very accurate...
