Colorado Motorcycle Expo

#1

Post by HOTT »

This past weekend we attended the Colorado Expo. It takes place at the Nation Western Stockyards. A 100 or so
motorcycle show and a HUGE indoor swap meet.
El Jefe was the hit with the bagger crowd. Beautiful satin blue.

This '29 Henderson had to be seen and HEARD to be believed. The inline 4 was converted to a V-6 !! by the owners father 40yrs ago. The promoters allowed him to fire it up occasionally. Unbelievable!!!

In a week that saw Mecum's auction a Vincent for $900k. This Vinny got all the attention and took the overall. Found under a porch and perfectly restored. 1 of only 16 red ones ever built. These were just great people. Thanks to them for showing me around.

Now this is no exaggeration. Imagine this photo 15 more times. Add a rodeo arena with a used bike corral and live band, 2 Cattleman's restaurants and concessions at every turn !
