Nice ride. A friend of mine mentioned that if he had to do his riding again, he no longer can, he would stop more and take more time. Enjoy.

The Wind today was not as bad as predicted thankfully. 264 from Gallup NM over to the park was spectacular. An empty road with awesome scenery. The park was nice but holiday weekend traffic was crazy. Half a mile long wait at the entrance. Then every viewing area was full of Non US tourists with selfie sticks. I saw maybe 15 elk all spread out. 2 Bulls and the rest were cows. Saw a few hogs once I left the park and headed down to Williams. That is when the wind really turned on.

The rain starts tonight and switches back and forth to snow and rain at least through the morning then solid rain after. Sooo I may be here in Williams for an extra day. If I can catch a break I will head out. Next destination is only 100 miles so very easy if the roads are not dangerous.

Actually feel really good with the miles. I could easily do another 600 mile day today but the weather is the issue. So far this morning I have seen rain, sleet, and hail. Not a lot just enough to be miserable. Roads are just barely wet. The wind however is still blowing pretty good and there is some rain snow mix west of here.

Just over 1100 miles to my final destination so trying to decide how to split that up with the weather. Definitely 2 days maybe 3 but where to stop?? Looks like once I make the turn NW out of Kingman Az it warms up and the weather improves dramatically.

Great day with Winston yesterday. Celebrated my Birthday on the Vegas Strip by having smoked brisket at Gilleys!! Awesome Dinner and even managed a couple of them adult beverages. Just got in to Susanville Ca. a hair over 500 miles for this leg. 2 milestones today, I hit the 3,000 mile mark for this trip and the 10,000 mile mark on the new bike since I bought it action1 action1 action1 action1
