It's been here before. Called a five barrel or six barrel.
Whatever I suggest here should be given ample time for a moderator to delicately correct. I apologize in advance.

I copied and pasted the red highlighted part. I don't think that is what you mean. This is what came up. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_ ... ida+aerial

I like the concept. Would be cheaper to buy a mounting plate than an entire manifold. Plus, I love the idea of the stock look. I assume the butterflies were removed and that was about it?

I spent an hour reading the SCC threads and it appears to have the same popularity as tire and oil threads. Mixed reviews, some discussions got a little heated also. To each his own. I think it was neat concept, just wish there was more to read up on.

Visually it is a vast improvement over the normal installations.
I guess I grew up in and era where two carbs were better ten one, and four was even better. And I have seen no evidence that the single carb conversions create more HP, or help the performance of the engine, other then the seat of the pants feeling, which is often fueled by a lack of ability to tune multi carb. I hear very often "I'm going to convert to a single carb, because I can't get the stock ones to work".

Looks like the single setup is the path of least resistance for someone who just wants to hop on and go. I'm tickled knowing that I have enough knowledge to tune a complex 4 carb setup.

The progressive two barrel still interests me. Tons of videos out there. When set up right, they sound like they rev quicker than cv carbs. Might be better acceleration, but might be trickier to manage in a curve. Still waiting for warmer weather and a report from Ron, hmbrtn and his four barrel.
