Years ago I had work performed at a shop in Maryland that was owned by Gary Nixon. I think I have his name correct. He was a famous flat tracker. Are you related to him?

I really enjoyed your narrative.

Never tried it with my toes.....but The Motorcycle Project is indeed my primary website (http://www.motorcycleproject.com). To that extent I resemble that person.... Are you one of my clients? Thank you for the kind words and hearty welcome!

Yes indeedy, client and admirer, both. On the CBX forums, I am 'BiPolarBear', and my workaday name is Gordon Lamb.

Mike that was pure poetry, thanks, and bearWing, that was great too. Come to think of it, I have had a relationship with our 1978 wing almost as long as I have had with my hubby.

Welcome, and a hearty recommendation for Mike's services. I had the pleasure of using Mike's services last winter, when he rebuilt the carbs on my CB900F. Mike's services were above reproach, and he continued to offer tech support to assist me well past the point many folks would have simply stopped responding to my inquiries. A trip to Mike's website is
( http://www.motorcycleproject.com/ ) is an education onto itself!

I look forward to his input on this forum as I begin my new project!

Glad of that. Encourages me to work more on the site, which can be a challenge, time-wise. Thank you for saying so, and for the welcome!
