How do you remove the carb rack without turning the two right manifolds 180 degrees?

You can put the manifolds on after the carbs have been slid into place.

I forgot to mention, a light dab of grease really helps too.

Most techs do not rotate the manifolds to remove the carb set from the bike. Removing the aircut valve and if necessary one or two tops on the right side makes rotating the manifolds unncecessary.

If rotating the manifolds to remove carbs, be sure and have the clamps fully loosened and damage to the interior of the manifolds (due to the notch) will be minimized.
