1975 #15290 (of 20691 total) was manufactured 6/75.
1976 #10653 (of 41275 total) was manufactured 8/75.
1. Between some time in June 1975 and some time in August 1975, some 16000 (5401 75's and 10653 76's) Goldwings were manufactured.
I have #GL1-1018858 made in 6/75

I have GL1-1007799, which I believe is a low number for Australian delivery. We had no Vin Plates fitted until May or June of 1975, so my bike does not have a manufacture date on it.

Pistol Pete,
I will have to confirm later, as I just loaded the bike onto a ship to move it from the US to the UK (visiting vehicle), but I have 1000431, made in 2/1975.

I also have 5502, but I will have to confirm date of manufacture by going out to my storage shed across town. I'll try to do that later today.

Pete,
I just went into my photos, and although (to my great chagrin) I can't find a clear shot of the panel, it surely looks like my wing #1000431 was made in MARCH, not in Feb. What does that do for you? (I'll send a better pic when it arrives here in Aberdeen! Yay!)
Regards,
Diesel

Please note: I incorrectly thought my VIN ended in 5502 when it is actually 5022. Sorry!

hey pistol pete!
sorry for you but mine is numbered GL1-2000276
I don't have a serial plate on my wing, I just have this number engraved on the frame, between the triple trees
I was forced to grind the paint to ensure the number and make a decent picture

My 75 is #1010920 dated 05/75
I looked at the ten pics I took trying to balance bike and flashlight and camera.
This is the best.
