Post by GL1-242 »

Hey All,
I have a 2008 5.3 vortec in it lmf code #4 in 8th digit of vin. dropped a valve in #6 this is a gen IV. I found a 2000 5.3 long block no intake, I should be able to swap in with intake and accessories and sensors. the 2000 is a gen 3. So is it that easy swap out same block and heads. i have the 799 heads on the 2008.
