Too bad someone painted all the aluminum bits. What a shame. Not terminal but a PIA to correct.

Does anybody have any idea why this 75 with 57000 miles would go for $5100? I know it is a free market, but could this be legitimate? If so, why? I have several of this make , model, and color and sold 2 just like it for an average of $1600 each within the last year and a half. Mine were all original , in better shape than the one that just sold, and had between 45k and 55k miles.

Dave...I was just fixing to ask that exact same question! Even went back and viewed the pictures again; then looked at VIN, trying to determine what it takes to get to that price. Must have been a "hypmotizing" narrative! What's funny is I have that in a couple different rebuilds, and don't think anything about it!

I usually try to sell locally and on the enthusiast boards I frequent first, but my stuff usually ends up on eBay. More potential buyers means a higher potential price. Weave a good story to get attention. I've sold motorcycles all over the US. 1 even went to France.

The motorcycle market is fickle, unpredictable, and changes from day to day. A few years back I sold my pristine '83 VF750F for over $6K and was shocked at the interest. Last year I sold my nearly as nice and much more desirable '84 VF1000F for under $3500. Go figure.

Randakks 75 Blue sold for $9,500 some years back, even with the bent seat pan from center standing it.

Sorry R :<)

I put 55,000 on mine before buying a 78 with 1,900 miles for $2,300.
