Re: For sale 76 wing
Absolutely! Most folks consider spares freebies if they come with the vehicle. Lester front wheels are selling for $300+ in decent shape. Probably $125+ for a rear Lester, $100 each for wire wheels, $75+ for a used Dyna S that works, etc. That way you can afford to take $2k for the bike (likely offer this time of year in a pandemic) and still get the money you want.

I agree. Prices mentioned previously were for the bike alone. The numerous parts are better sold separatedelling3 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2020 8:39 am Not usually one to give unsolicited advice, but here goes. I suspect you will be further ahead selling the motorcycle at a lower price, and selling the spares off separately. Folks have an idea of what your motorcycle is worth, and are likely not interested in giving you anywhere near a fair price for the motorcycle plus your spare parts - regardless of how much they are worth. I have seen it time and again both as a buyer and a seller of motorcycles, boats, cars, etc. If the parts are of value, then you will get a lot more selling them on Craigslist, FB Marketplace, or Ebay, as opposed to packaging them with the motorcycle. Set a realistic selling price for the bike, and then sell the spares off. From your list of parts, I would expect you might get $500 - $1000 (or more, depends on condition) by selling the parts alone.

Hmmm, very tempting, but have no space or need for spares, other than take-offs to put the bike back to stock...
