Here's the deal....
I bought this setup back in 2016. I had planned on using it on my 1100. Sold that bike. Then I was going to use it on my 1100 project. Sold the motor - no more project. Next up - my 1000. It was running good on points and I didn't ride it all that much and never got around to it. Sold that bike last week. No more bikes at the moment.
The C5 ignition coils are supposed to fit the stock 1100 brackets. The owner of C5 told me they would work on the 1000 too. Not sure if anything had to be modified or not.
I bought 76 heads with the the cams so I wouldn't have to drill out the cam on the 1100. It would be a remove and replace procedure. I wasn't all that sure what I was getting into replacing the heads but I was willing to give it a go. Seemed easier than taking the 1100 cam out and having it drilled. That and the 76 cams were a little peppier I'm told.
Anyway there ya have it. Anyone that has this ignition in their bike feel free to chime in and give whatever input / opinion you feel like giving.
I have a very clear set of instructions to go with it. Paul the owner of C5 is a very cool dude and would have been willing to guide me through the process but I bailed.
I'd like to sell the whole maryanne as a unit. Unless I'm mistaken, I think they still sell this ignition but the cost has come down because you have to reuse the points cover. I think the machined cover looks cool.
I think the ig. cost me more than what I'm asking for everything minus the shipping.
The heads and cams came in 2 large flat rate boxes. That will be the shipping for the heads. I'll ship the ig. separate.
$650 plus shipping for the heads and ignition.

Good price. I have the C5 on my 78, replaced the "other" electronic ignition. Best ignition I ever had.

FYI, C5 no longer sells ignitions.
I might be interested in just the ignition, but I already had a set of '75 heads/cams in my parts pile, so no need for yours... Let me know if you're interested.

I realize not everyone knows what these are or wants one so I figured I'd have to entertain just selling the ignition eventually.FYI, C5 no longer sells ignitions.

I thought I'd try this forum first (my favorite!) and go from there.
If you are interested send me a pm and maybe we can do a deal
So C5 no longer sells the Goldwing ignition? Or ignitions altogether?
thanks
