79 GL1000

#1

Post by rcmatt007 »

I picked this up as a true barn find about a decade ago. stripped it all down, randakk carbs, SS brake lines, steel front and rear fender, GL1100 bags, and repainted the whole thing. Had it running about 5 years ago at the Eureka Springs run, and since then the tank was drained and it has been in storage (yeah, it ran when I parked it!)... I have no idea what the original miles are, but this is what the odometer says.... I will deliver up to 200 miles for a NGW member.

Asking $1500 OBO... I need the room for a new project!

Did you sell Beth's sidecar?
Goldwings don't accelerate, they gain inertia.

1978 GL1000 - almost stock - needs a head replaced, parts are ready to install!
1979 GL1000 - Winter project/parts bike - custom "Busted"
1983 GL1100 Standard- raised from the dead and back to organ donor status
And the newest acquisition, 1979 XS 650F to be a sidecar tug. crossy.gif
