Hello everyone,
I realize this is a long shot pitch, but I'm hoping to find one person among the membership would have an interest in purchasing my entire Gl1000 stash. The collection includes three bikes with titles (two of which are running/riders) and a very large collection of parts. I won't try to list it all here, but I do have plans to set things out in such a way that I can document photographically everything I'm hoping to sell in a single transaction.
I live in south central Kansas. If you're close enough to bring a large trailer, I'd help load everything up. I'd also be willing to carefully load everything in a POD for the buyer so the whole collection could ship to you in a single container anywhere in the USA (at buyer's expense).
I am loathe to try and sell this stuff individually, and box and ship it out piece by piece over months and months - like via eBay. In fact, I simply won't do that. But, just to offer a rough estimate, I'd expect my collection (including bikes) would bring between $6k - $7k, if dribbled out that way.
Anyway, I'm sure any potential buyer will be hungry for details. I know I would. But, before I make the effort to create that database, I wanted first to simply see if anyone in the club even has an interest in taking on such a substantial project.
If you think you might seriously consider this, please PM me.
Best to all,
Rocky

so what is the $ if someone brings a trailer and wants the whole maryanne? Asking for the collective.$6k - $7k, if dribbled out that way.
I used to have a stash too. It so much easier to bring it home. I'm still trying to pass stuff along.
I put a FREE sign on a lot of it and I still have stuff.
Good Luck.
1978GL1000 naked - kinda sadly gone. no bike at the moment.
