1976 Supercharger bike (less blower)

#1

Post by Qui-gon »

I have decided to sell my 76 blower bike. The link to the build thread is in my signature in which there are may pictures of the progress. I was going to keep this for my retirement but my plans have changed somewhat.

The bike has been in storage for a few years and is complete except for the supercharger stuff which someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse for. It looks pretty much the same as it did when it was completed except for the layers of dust (free).

It is definitely a bring a trailer job which I will help you load

To sweeten the deal the following extras are included:
Magnacharger blower manifold. This is just the casting
AMR 500 supercharger. My plan was to migrate to this more modern design.
Partially prepped spare 1979 engine (thicker cases) with the top end removed but is complete.
Various other boxes of GL1000 parts.
Price is $850
Please use email for more info.

The 79 has thicker cases?
I have never heard that mentioned before.

yea I have read that a couple times. It was to help mask the primary chain noise and was I think part of the 77 mid year production changes.
