It is a touch firmer than it was. I did not remove any foam from the seating "sweet spot" just mostly from the sides and from the passenger area. If you look at the uncovered seat after cutting you can make out the original surface.

I added about an inch of foam under the driver portion to make it fit my long-ish legs better.
