Maybe K&L produces a rebuild kit.

Unfortunately, Mother Honda changed the rear masters in 1978. I know for sure that the 76 and 77 rebuild kits are part #43510-371-305 and '75 is most likely the same. K&L doesn't offer rear kits for these years, so your only choice is to order one from a Honda dealer, Service Honda, Western Honda, etc. Price will probably be in the $50 range shipped. At some point, Honda will stop offering the kits and hopefully K&L will by then. I think they actually did in the past, but discontinued them. Go figure.

If not concerned with staying original, there are posts here on using an 1800 rear master on earlier bikes. Maybe they are more plentiful for parts there.

Many of us are happily using front
master cylinders from China/eBay that cost less than a kit to rebuild the old one would. I wonder if one of the rear
master cylinders they are selling would be suitable?

Murrayf is an occasional poster here but he is the top poster on the CX500 forum. He is also a supplier of aftermarket parts for the CX family, mostly items he has seen a need for in his own shop where he works on a lot of CX bikes (& a few 'Wings too). He is considered an authority on which aftermarket parts are safe to spend your money on. He has also worked with David Silver Spares to help them reproduce some NLA parts.
Murray recommends replacing with this
master cylinder instead of buying a kit and rebuilding the original.

I have had one on my CX650E based winter machine for a year. It works really well so I installed one on my 'Wing this spring.
BTW: The main reason I replaced the one on the 'Wing was that its sight glass was getting ready to crumble. When I removed it I noticed that the boot on the piston, which was part of a genuine Honda kit I installed a few years ago, had perished.
Tell me again: Why shouldn't I buy Chinese brake parts?

Didn't say you shouldn't. Said I won't.

There is a lot of top quality stuff coming from China these days. I would be very surprised to learn that Honda is not sourcing their OEM labelled stuff from there.

I'm old enough to remember when stuff from Japan was always suspect. But times change. I'm not saying China is there yet, but things do change I, for one, will wait a while longer to see how things pan out.

FYI:
I called K&L today and learned they are now making a rear
master cylinder rebuild kit for the '75-'77's.
The Part # is
32-4270; equivalent to Honda 43510-371-305.
My Googling of their P/N turned up only one U.S. vendor thus far, on eBay.
