Do some riding today.

Post by Goose »

Kinda cold out for South Texas, but I'm going to the shop in a bit. My partner is fixing up an old boat, original Shoalwater. I've got to ride down to Port O'Conner today and put some money toward a jack plate (raises and lowers the motor for shallow waer running) for him. Thought as long as I'm going that way, I'll hook up the trailer, put the dirt bike on it, and run over to my place (in that area) and do some dirt riding and check the place out. Haven't been down there in a while. Don't have anything on the land, just use it for hunting and riding. If I go, I'll shoot a pic of the rig.

Kinda cold out for North Texas too. I wish I had the scenery you have down by the coast. But I am riding today too. Not where I want to go, just work and back. But I'm riding. :)

Well, I rode to the shop today it was 48 degrees this morning. That's cold enough. I didn't ride to my place, took the van 'cause the wife wanted to go. I loaded up my little Chinese Diamo LS200 DP bike on my Moto Tote and hauled it down there and did some riding while the wife kicked back in the van. I have a TTR clone I haul behind the Wing. The Diamo is too big for the little trailer.

It was BEAUTIFUL out this afternoon, perfect! Temp's 68 out there an 25% humidity. I hope I can remember this day once August comes around. I rode down there until I got tired, loaded and came home. Lots of deer sign. I wanna build a permanent elevated box blind down there so I can sit down there and snooze at night while I wait on the hogs. Besides, I'm getting to old to sit in the north wind on a tripod stand. I need something waterproof and that I can heat with a coleman heater.
