New buttons installed on customer bike

I thought you all might like to see an actual installation of the vacuum cap buttons.
Our turn around time for this install on your four vacuum caps is 1 day.

PP do you suppose one would want to polish B4 putting in new caps?
Would the polishing process damage the new caps ??

Fish,
Good question. My answer would be if the intent is to polish the vacuum caps, then yes. Turning the old buttons to mush would be the better choice.
The new buttons are, as a standard of PP practice, treated with a UV protectant and it can be removed with aggressive polishing or for that matter scrub cleaning the caps. This treatment should last 6 to 8 years if it is not scrubbed off. Warm soapy water and pat dry is the best answer.

Pistol
Thanks for a great question.
