Pete,

I'm stunned that you are selling your Yellow. If it doesn't climb well past 10K, I'm going to be depressed for the rest of the year.

I saw your brother at the Gilmore gathering, and he had a Yellow on diplay. So there is still one in the family

Robin,
Kawasaki made a number of 72's and sold as 73's. I have one of those.

Better hang on to that one. I'd heard rumors but never knew anyone that had one.

I just helped a guy restore a 73 Z1 that he bought new. I did the engine and then tuned after it was all together. Been awhile since I rode a stock 900.

Well, I had a feeling I knew what the reserve was. It's off the reserve and at $10,000 right now with a bit less than 9 hours to go.

Funny thing about Ebay, just when you think it's over someone else gets in the race. Sold today for $10,100. Thought the last bidder from Spain was going to do the deed, but she's headed west instead.

Moose is already missing her! crying1

Well, it cracked 10K and that's good. But, oh boy, are those eBay fees going to hurt!! Congrats Pete.

Yep, winning bid was made with one second to go. I've won stuff like that before. Some use a sniping program. I just sit there and wait for the clock to count down. Same result either way. If your bid is high enough you win. If not, well there is always another one.

A friend of mine had a 1972 Z1 and he was of the understanding that the 72's were dealer bikes to introduce the 73's, who knows.

I had a 73 Z1 and I still kick myself for selling it.
