I think it looks O.K. But I would worry a little about how short it is in the back. Longer is better for protecting the radiator

Your probably right about the size. A tighter netting on the radiator is a good idea

I think the fender looks 100% Buli.
Enjoying watching your build
( By the way, we also have to fit ridiculously large license plates. OK for cars, but too big to be cool on a bike )

What did you do with all the wires around headlight . I am thinking of Bobber with a Springer seat if I can figure out a way to make it work any ideas.

Do you mean wires that remain when stripping is done? I leave all i need to make gauges, lights, and turn singnals to work. Wires which were for radio will be stripped off (all other wires is needed). Wiering is what i still hafty do, so i dont have better answer jet. I get back to that issue when get to it.Bearpaw wrote:What did you do with all the wires around headlight . Wasn't thinking of much frame mod other than getting rid of parts that hold fender on.

Is your bike 1200? Do you mean cutting the frame behind rear shock?Bearpaw wrote:Wasn't thinking of much frame mod other than getting rid of parts that hold fender on.

Re: GL 1200 cafe (Te Racer) projekt.
I got turn signals and rear light from China but not gotta time to finnish instalation. It seems this finnishin takes so long.
I bought adapters to install 22mm steeringbar in these 1" original holders but it did not work, installation is slack. Now i need rethink how i resolve this steeringbar issue. Any ideas??
Short 10 days break now. I travel to Spain to bring back home my daughter who has been in intership there for 11weeks. Miss her.

Re: GL 1200 cafe (Te Racer) projekt.
Standard Goldwing handlebars are 7/8 inch. I wasn't aware anyone made smaller bars. Some newer bikes, especially Harley Davidson use 1" bars. A tight fit on the bars is absolutely critical.

7/8" is 22mm. Looks like someone may have had those clamps bored out to take Harley bars..
