Hello from the Pacific Northwet

#1

Post by DUGG »

hello from the great pacific northwet. I have 1981GL1100I that I acquired a few years ago from one of my customers. He bought it as a basket case, and went through all the mechanical items on it. Than he rattle canned painted it, right over all the imperfections. I bought it and repainted it using Duplicolor rattle cans and PPG two part rattle can clear coat. I had a local shop make decals for it and used bulk pinstriping. I added a front fender and handle bars from late 70s CB750F, a rear fender from a standard. I upgraded to progressive conventional shock and fork springs.
I realize it is not naked, But I find this site very cool in that you guys seems to be into customizing your bikes.

Hi, very clean and nice looking bike. You did well on that paint and the pinstripe really sets it off. Welcome to the best Goldwing site on the net.
