Yesterday, as documented on 'What did you...', Pepper took me to back to Wyoming Ontario, just outside Sarina, and I collected BADDOG with a new rear tire and rear wheel bearings. Runs Oh so very nice. Thanks again to all the organizers and extra thanks to Mark for the awesome history lessons. A very beautiful destination for sure.

Interestingly, Friday night I attended the first of the two nights of my 50th high school reunion.
Some folks, that I'd last seen 50 years ago, told me they heard through the grapevine, I had died in my August, 1967 working accident. nope.
anyhoo.....
Quite a few old classmates had seen photos of me and trike posted on Facebook. When I told them I had been in Canada, just last week for our exceptionally well organized and totally enjoyable NGW Canadian Run, they were very surprised. 22,000+ miles of smiles and my "International Adventures" into Canada were enthusiastically applauded. tumb2
Eventually, several other classmates agreed an informal "cruise-in" was certainly called for and are bringing their classic cars to attend a tour of our high school Saturday morning, and requested I ride trike there, too!
You betchum red rider! :oldies

I think that I'm going to install new wheel bearings this winter; in addition to a new clutch cable

Ya, wheel bearings.
I did the rear the week before heading to the eastern Rally.
Front done last season.
Good time to grease the drive train while it's apart.

Ascot and I had a nice lunch yesterday to 'Debrief' the 1000 Islands Run and see what we could learn for future Runs.

While the overall feeling was that the 1000 Islands Run was a success re: Venue, Breakfast, Dinner, Rides and such, there were a few things we felt might have improved the event ....

1. A short Ride on the Tuesday for the (many) early arrivals

2. Increased scouting, specifically in this case, the 'Forts and Ferries' Ride was not up to par

3. More Beer (my contribution) ....

Seriously now .... we would like to hear from the Riders .... what do you feel would have improved the experience for you ?

Don't be shy ....

:oldies nametags.....or a story board of sorts to put names and faces, together. or both! tumb2

This experience was almost as exciting as my 50th high school reunion, just the next week's weekend. Kinda.

Too many 'old' faces at my high school reunion, and too little time to visit everyone.
But, thankfully, we had nametags. ;)
