Those are very ugly. Are there other heads to be had or are they rare like hens teeth. I have seen some very ugly rusty parts clean up well in a machine shop hot tank and be salvageable especially if replacing guides and seats to run with the unleaded fuels.

I wouldn’t say they are rare, but are getting harder to find. They were only used for 2 years, 66 and 67. Many of the high performance guys didn’t like them because they were considered to small to make big power.
I will most likely be putting Trick Flow 240 aluminum heads on this engine.
Wow, it will be great to follow. Do start a build thread. Who was the first builder and how did you get to take the project over. Pretty darn cool for sure.
