Went to the Rosemont RV show last night. Got my reality check on why I dont really want a new one. Very Nice stuff bur pricey. It is interesting that you can buy a pretty nice 25 foot Class"C" for not that much more than a nice equipped Full size Pick up today. Will have to address the things my old 26 foot 87 Tioga needs before summer and be happy with that.

I know what you mean. I'm going to refurbish my 26' toy hauler this summer. Been saying that for years, but I think this summer is the time. Good luck on yours

Yeah, I found out a long time ago that new cars are not a wise place to put money. New RV's are a far worse place to put money. Unless, of course, you have money to burn. I don't. Took me a while to figure that out and I burned a bunch of cash on trailers, 5th wheels and trucks. That's why I've settled on a 35 year old Westfalia. Mechanically fully sorted, it's actually appreciating! What a concept.

I will admit that it's intoxicating going to the big RV shows. There's one in Phoenix at the stadium where the Cardinals play every year. I haven't been in a number of years, but it's easy to get pumped and do something impulsive.

...kinda like with old GLs.
