New Member from Colorado!

#1

Post by Motogalandherpup »

Hello all,

I have recently purchased my first goldwing, a 1983 GL1100 I, in pretty good condition this fall. I have been able to get her undressed, but find I have many questions as I have never had a bike this large. I am hoping to do some cafe/brat styling to her as the winter season goes along, and am happy for advice along the way. I have already found the 'shoptalk' forum extremely helpful dismantling the front faring!

I am wondering if a build thread would be best- is that what folks around here do?

Super excited to be a part of something new!

Beth

83 is one of the very best years.....linked brakes, TRAC anti-dive forks, cast aluminum wheels, can run the air shocks at zero psi, self-canceling turn signals.....and Colorado winding roads....jealous SIGH.

You found the right place.
