Rear casing gl1000

#1

Post by transitman »

Have to remove engine because starter sprag clutch stuck. Do I have to take the clutch out before removing the rear casing, or will it just slide over it?
Be nice if I can leave it in as it took me 3 months to get right!
Cheers Baz

The rear case and clutch cover come off as an assembly after removing all but 2 or 3 fasteners.

Bless you Cliff! The manual wasn't specific, just listed taking out clutch before removing the casing.
I'll start tomorrow

Pleased I could help you, Baz!
Robin1731 gave me some guidance in that area when I needed it, too. ;) tumb2

Yes I am riding again, Eric! :oldies
Total miles this riding season are almost 1,100 miles.
772 of those miles were accumulated from July 4th, through 16th. All of those miles, by me self. :-D
