new to this site, and seeing how it goes

Post by Rusty0149 »

Just found the site on the internet, and interested to find anyone in the Branson, Springdale Ar area. Found a 82 Standard last year that had been sitting for the past 10 years, and 99 percent complete but gas tank was so bad had to be replaced and the carbs would not open slammed shut. Took me all winter and some of the summer to tear it down, redo it from top to bottom, new fluids timing belts well everything.. then polished it as much as I could.
still looking for a org. right front turn signal /headlight arm.. Found one but it was a after market with the screws. if anyone has information for it let me know please. Photo attached. only thing not org to the bike is the gas tank, and right front turn signal arm thanks I am sure I ll be back if I have questions thanks …….glad I found the site... OH 82 with 19,000 miles
I think it came out OK LOL
