Last nights Rocket launch

Drove up to Wallops Island on the Eastern Shore last night to watch the Antares rocket launch. Absolutely an amazing thing. Video is poor quality but still enjoyable. 1.9 miles from the pad at an abandon ferry launch. Just one day past the full moon in the background. Make sure to have the sound up. Beautiful night

I remember watching a space shuttle land at Edwards back when we were in LA (81-83)

Yeah, I was lucky enough to witness a few launches when I lived in Florida. I've also been woken up by the space shuttle coming in a few times as well. Double sonic boom will get your attention.

And I saw the Challenger explode.

Great video. Took about 8 seconds for the sound to catch up to the light.
