Has anyone recently purchased these cables for the American handlebar and can you tell me what part numbers they bought? it's a nice dilemma

hi 5 speeds, you were very kind to measure and give me the lengths of the various cables. now I have a good basis to start looking for the right sizes. Thank you so much

anytime at all my friend. I looked on the throttle cables for a part # but all they had was "made in japan"
I got the brake lines from Raymond at Apex. Great guy to deal with, great product too. (brained stainless steel)
The 51" measurement is to the curve in the metal sleeve on the handlebar end

hi 5 speeds, thanks to the measurements you gave me, in England I found the clutch cable, the throttle cables and the left control block with the relative wiring. now I'm looking for the right control, with the right length of the wiring and then I can mount the high handlebar!
Thanks again.

If you can't find one on your side of the pond..try Andy. I've bought quite a few parts from him. great to deal with. He doesn't have one listed on his web site but he has a lot of parts not listed and may have one.

in the end I bought the American high handlebar of a 1976 Gl 1000 from Texas, but I did not buy the electrical blocks as they are different from the European models for the functioning of the lights. my mechanic said that he will stretch me the wires of the European wiring one by one, respecting the original colors of the cables, to bring them to the right length. in Holland I found the original long clutch cable, and in England I found the two throttle cables, not original, but of the right length. now I'm waiting for everything to arrive and then my mechanic has a day to change the handlebars
Thanks for the info.

hi 5 speeds, thanks for the good wishes, but who knows when this damn covid will allow us to run! In Italy there is a curfew from 10 pm to 5 am, bars, pubs, restaurants are closed, you cannot leave your village, town or city except to go to work or for serious health reasons. . a real sadness. but never fear !!!

we don't have a curfew here but the border between here and the next province is closed for non residents unless you work there or have a medical appointment. Other than that I can go anywhere..as soon as it warms up a bit. lol
