New to forum
Just started on a 76 GL1000. Previous owner says it last ran in 2014. I’m working through Randakk’s Long layoff list now. Just finished reinstalling the tank. (Took handfuls of solids out).
Does anyone have advice on where in the list changing timing belts should fall?

Welcome from Maine!
I'll avoid reiterating the advice about belts. I'll simply note that the bike has an interference motor.

In case you don't know, if a belt breaks, you will more then likely drive a valve thru the top of a piston. CHANGE YOUR BELTSNotSoLilCrippseys wrote: ↑Sun Apr 03, 2022 3:06 pm Welcome from Maine!
