I’ve got a standard 81 in green. Pretty sure it’s factory but I have wondered as well

Re: New here no ride yet!
Anyway I have been on the hunt for an ‘82 Standard just like one I bought new, which was also black. This is an ‘81, but close enough as they don’t turn up often these days especially complete and in good condition.
This one has just over 10k miles.
During my search, I did unearth some NOS parts, a complete exhaust system, fork ears and front turn signals. I figured I’d be converting an Interstate so I started buying what I would need. So now I got spares.

Nice find! Now change the belts, check the tire age, and get riding!

Yes it needs some refreshing, fuel lines, filter, brake lines, etc. all the perishable stuff that has been on there for the last 41 years!
