Re: Another Suzuki done
Took motor out to fix broken off exhaust bolt, painted frame and engine, vinyl wrapped the tank and plastics, rebuilt carbs, cleaned out the tank, rebuilt masters and calipers, new brake and fuel lines, tires, swingarm and steering bearings, wiring was a bit of a mess, electronic ignition (points plate had a tiny crack and grounded out, probably what made someone give up on it in the first place).
Did some custom LED lights, seat is from a Kawasaki 1200, different bars and grips.
Was a lot of fun to do but a headache at times, especially dialing in the carbs.

Re: Another Suzuki done
Sweet! I'm curious how difficult the vinyl wrap is to do?

Re: Another Suzuki done
The vinyl wrap was a pain, and there are lots of flaws up close. I’d rather use paint next time, feel like it’s something that needs a lot of practice and is a bit of an art, hard to get right the first time. Maybe I just need to learn how to do the tank with separate pieces as the smaller parts turned out quite well
