Nice. The bike is beautiful. Most days it seems like I can't make time for my own bikes and then I see ones like yours. You're an inspiration HOTT. Thanks for your ideas.

Alright
1. Amazing bike, you are lucky I don't know where you live lol
2. How much modding went into fitting the seat like that? I am thinking about doing that to mine.
3. This is my final and feel free to laugh at me but I noticed you kept the passenger pegs. How much room is left behind you like could you fit a "petite female" on or would that be askin too much?

Thanks much (and thank you WeedHopper)
The tail/seat setup will fit OK with a bit of effort. I had a look in mind so I used an air tool with a 3''sanding disc and 'adjusted' it a bit. Look back on page #4 of this thread and you can see the original. Mounting the seat pad proved to be tougher as I didn't use the riveted seat cover.
I noticed you kept the passenger pegs
LOL. Yeah it's a little like the carry handle on an old Magnavox..(Even though it weighs a ton the handle makes it 'Portable'). I felt that's what the manufacturer would have done (the pegs that is). My wife actually can ride on the back, but not for long. Good or bad design? You decide. That being said I'm 6'2'' and prefer to sit in the middle of the machine and there is room left on the saddle behind me.

I just had her out today for some photos will post soon

Awesome Job. You just gave me enough inspiration to revamp my '76 LTD.
I am not all that familiar with everything that;s going to be involved, but I do possess some mechanical ability. I should be able to pull this one off without a hitch. Thanks for sharing your photos and your inspiration.

Yes, the LTD is one you don't want to change.

Yes I agree, anyone who has an LDT that is restorable should stay true. Paint in my opinion can be better than stock but no color change allowed per my opinion. The LTD was a nice combo, and it is okay with period accessories but that is about as far as I would go with mods. There are many less deserving wings for anyone that wants to do something as nice as a Condor.

Ric, Have you thought about doing a thread on your current project, the '83 GL1100 ????

Thanks for the comments on my LTD, a boost in confidence is always appreciated. I want to go with the original color which is Custom Candy Brown(even though it looks to be maroon), but I can't seem to get a response from Color Rite who holds the patent for it. The paint number is R7CC. Anyone know where else I can get this paint ???
