Today I worked on the rear master and front master, I had to put the grease fitting on the rear master and a piece of rubber and a c- clamp over the reservior hole to block it,the internals came out with a little work. I cleaned the the inside of the cylinder with red scotch brite pad folded and taped to a drill bit.

Today After the day out with the wife I pulled out the buffer and cleaned up 1 intake manifold runner, came out nice. 3 more to go and then the timing covers and valve covers.

Today I finished up painting the frame and the final drive,Took off the swing arm and the clip was gone on the driveshaft?So I need to get one,size anyone?also buffed half of the timing cover. boy what a difference!carbs are waiting.

94510-20000 CIRCLIP (OUTER) (20MM)

It looks like it's still available from Honda. The one that holds the coupler (at the final drive end) is the same part.

BTW nice buffer.

Thanks for the info on the clip, The buffer was $89.00 about 10 years ago I buffed a lot of Triumph parts with it.

Buffed the edges of the wheels today with air powered buffer, red rouge and then white they came out acceptable. I may do them again or sand them first. they look fine from 2 feet lolol

Got the 83 swingarm today with a driveshaft for $38.00 shipped,So some cleaning and painting next.

Yeah, I've seen black turn almost white when the humidity was too high.

Ran into a little cash flow problem so it slowed the work alittle, but I ordered the tires today. I am trying the shinko tourmaster 230 120/90 18 front and 140/90 16 rear $130.00 shipped motorcycle superstore I read they are pretty good so for the price can't lose.
